Hello lovelies. How are you. Today’s blog post is about the Makeup Book Tag. I can not find the original creator’s video. Please leave me a comment below letting me know what your answers are to these questions. Hope you have a great day.
1. PRIMER: pick a book that left a lasting impression
A book that left a lasting impression is A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness. I still think about this book. It is a short book, but it packs a big punch. It is such a moving story.
The primer that I use most of the time is the Origins Original Skin Cooling Perfecting Primer with Willowherb. This is such a nice primer. It has a weird texture, but I do think it helps me not get too oily throughout the day.
2. FOUNDATION: pick your favorite first book in a series
My favourite first book in a series is The False Prince by Jennifer A. Nielsen. This book was such a great starting point to the series. It kept me intrigued the entire time and made me love the characters.
The foundation that I have been loving so much lately is the Fenty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation. This foundation wears so nice throughout my 8 hour work shift. I love it. Looks beautiful on the skin.
3. CONCEALER: pick a character you wish you could get rid of
A character I wish I could get rid of is Caleb Prior from the Divergent trilogy. I did not see a need for Caleb in the trilogy. He was annoying and selfish.
One of my all time favourite favourite concealers is the Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer.
4. POWDER: pick your favorite last book in a series
My favourite last book in a series is Always and Forever Lara Jean by Jenny Hann. This book wraps the story up perfectly.
The powder that I have been using lots is the NYX #NoFilter Finishing Powder in the shade porcelain. This makes your skin look flawless and sets your make up instantly.
5. EYEBROWS: a book that you think everyone should read
A book that I think everyone should read is American Marriage by Tayari Jones. This book is about a marriage between an African American couple in the late 1970’s. This is such a beautiful book.
My number one used eyebrow product is NYX Micro-Brow pencil. I love the shape of the pencil and it lasts all day.
6. EYESHADOW: pick a book that has your favorite colors on the cover
A book that has my favourite colours on it is How to Love by Katie Cotugno. These two colours are just perfection to me.
The eyeshadow palette that is one of my favourite palettes is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Palette. The colours are stunning, they blend like a dream and they last throughout the day. These are the colours that I use the most.
7. EYELINER: pick a dark & mysterious book
A dark and mysterious book is The Neighbours by Hannah Mary Mckinnon. This book was so well done and so suspenseful. I kept wanting to know more at the end of every chapter.
I don’t use eyeliner.
8. MASCARA: pick a loooooong book
A long book is The Wise Man’s Fear by Patrick Rothfuss. This book is 999 pages I have not yet read this book but I am really looking forward to it.
My all time favourite mascara is the Clinique Lash Power Mascara. I have never used a mascara that I have loved more. It last all day, doesn’t flake and keeps the shape.
9. BLUSH: pick a book that had some cringe-worthy romance.
A book that had a cringe worthy romance is All the Ugly and Wonderful Things by Bryn Greenwood. This book’s romance centres on a young girl that falls in love with her father’s thug. This romance made me feel so uncomfortable and uneasy.
The blush that I have been using lately is the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush in the shade feisty. This shade is beautiful and the blush lasts all day.
10. HIGHLIGHTER: pick a book that brightened your day
A book that brightened my day was Matilda by Roald Dahl. I just read this book for the first time this year and I couldn’t stop smiling while reading it. Matilda is such a spunky and smart little girl.
The highlighter that I have been useably a lot lately is the Physicians Formula Butter Highlighter in the shade Pearl. This highlighter sits beautifully on the skin and shines bright.
11. LIPSTICK: your favorite book kiss
My favourite book kiss has to go to Macy and Elliott from Love and Other Words by Christina Lauren. Their first kiss was magical. These two characters had so much sexual tension that when they finally kissed I wanted to stop reading and start clapping.
The lipstick that ii keep gravitating towards is Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Colour Splash Lipstick in the shade Island Life. The shade is so beautiful and it lasts throughout the day.
