Ice Cream Book Tag

Hi lovelies! How are you! Today’s blog post is all about the Ice Cream book tag. This tag was originally created by Alexa Loves Books and Super Space Chick. Please leave me a comment down below letting me know what your favourite ice cream flavour is. Hope you guys have a great day.

Vanilla – a book you wish had more flavour

A book I wish had more flavour is the Museum of Heartbreak. I was really excited for this book, but it fell flat for me. No substance in the book for me.

Chocolate – a long book or an immersive world that you enjoyed indulging in

An impressive world that I enjoyed indulging in was Scythe. The world was like ours, but at the same time it wasn’t. It was familiar then it wasn’t. It was just an amazing world.

Strawberry – a romance that was super sweet

A romance that was super sweet was the romance between Lara Jean and Peter from To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before Trilogy.

Ice cream sundae – a book encompassing all the elements you love

A book that encompassed all of the elements that I love in it is The Lucky Ones. This book has action, mystery, family drama and is faced past. Plus the writing was excellent. These are all of the elements that I love in a novel.

Milkshake – a book that blends genres

A book that blends genres is Wolf by Wolf. Now this book has fantasy and alternative history elements in it.

Sprinkles – a book with a colorful cover

A book with a colourful cover is The Queen of Hearts. Can we please just take a moment and appreciate this beautiful creation.

Ice cream cake – a book worthy of a celebration

A book that is worthy of celebration is An American Marriage. This story is a beautiful story about an African American couple in the 70’s and the trials and tribulations that they go through when the man goes to prison for a crime that he did not commit. I feel like this book should be celebrated because it shines a light on an important topic, which is racism.

Ice cream cookie sandwich or three scoops on a cone – a book with multiple perspectives

A book that has multiple points of view is the Falling Kingdoms series. As the series gets longer and longer then there are more points of view being added.

Waffle cone – a book you felt compelled to read very quickly

A book that I felt compelled to read very quickly was The False Prince. This book was so addicting and I loved the charters so much I felt like I had to read it quickly because I didn’t want to leave the characters.

Pint – a book you set aside but plan on going back to later

A book that I set aside but plan on getting back to later is My Lady Jane. I only read the first couple of chapters. I loved what I read, but I had other books to read that were more of a priority.
